Sign-ups for the Marshall County Christmas Coalition are underway.
The Coalition will hold sessions on Thursday and Friday at three locations.
This includes Albertville First Methodist Church, Boaz Parks and Recreation, and Guntersville Rec Center.
Thursday's session will run from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Friday's session will run from noon until 6 p.m.
Parents or legal guardians must bring the following information with them to sign up:
- Photo identification, address, phone number or alternate phone number
- Proof of Marshall County residency (copy of electric bill, water bill) in the name of the applicant
- Birth certificate for each child who needs assistance
- Name of school, grade, clothing sizes, shoe size, and a few reasonable non-clothing gift requests for each child
- School name or student id number for children who are home schooled
- A list of every person who lives in the household
Legal guardians must also bring proof of guardianship.
All applicants must also bring one of the following:
- 2024 SSI letter (current paper copy) if another adult living in the household is working and proof of income
- Current legal paycheck stub (paper copy) of everyone that is working in the household
- Two bank statements from June, July, or August showing weekly/monthly deposits for everyone working in the household
- Cash income – will sign a statement stating cash incomeÂ
Only one adult per family will be allowed in the facility. No children will be allowed. If you need an interpreter, the Marshall County Christmas Coalition asks that you bring your own.
